Who are we?

We are a non-profit organisation focused on improving obesity care and management in Malaysia

Since its inception, MYOS has rapidly evolved into a leading national platform dedicated to tackling one of Malaysia’s most pressing health challenges — obesity.

Built upon the collaborative efforts of leading experts and healthcare professionals, MYOS was founded with a shared vision to enhance obesity care and improve the nation’s public health landscape.

MYOS is led by a multi-disciplinary team of esteemed endocrinologists, dietitians, surgeons, family medicine specialists, and public health experts, united by a commitment to a coordinated, evidence-based approach to obesity prevention and management.

By engaging healthcare providers, policymakers, and the wider community, MYOS strives to foster a comprehensive response to obesity and its related conditions. Through sustained advocacy, education, and collaboration, MYOS aspires to become a national voice for health and wellness — paving the way toward a healthier, more informed Malaysia.
